The Brazos
Mutual Domestic Water Consumer Association is incorporated under the New
Mexico Sanitary Projects Act and is governed by Articles of Incorporation,
By-Laws, and Rules and Regulations.
The Articles of Incorporation are filed with the State of New Mexico
and, in general, remain unchanged.
Changes to the By-Laws require approval by the members at a meeting
of the Association. The Rules
and Regulations are formulated by the Board of Directors and may be changed
as required by the Board. All
members should be familiar with all of these documents, particularly the
Rules and Regulations which govern the day-by-day
operation of the water system.

By-Laws

or html). A number of improvements to the
By-Laws were approved by the membership at the annual meeting on May 25,
2008. Changes include ending
the fiscal year at the end of March, providing for Board nominations by
petition from the membership, and affirming that all Board meetings are
conducted in accordance with the New Mexico Open Meetings Act.
Rules

changes to the rules and regulations were approved by the Board on
April 6, 2008. Tough new rules
regarding delinquent accounts were approved on July 18, 2010.
